Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-03-12

PPL ("we", "our", "us") provides a workout tracking app and related services. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your options.

Information we collect

How we use information

Data retention

Free accounts retain only the latest workout session. Paid accounts retain workout history while subscription access is active. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, and fraud-prevention purposes.

Payments

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including Firebase's built-in security features to protect your data in transit and at rest.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us operate the app (for example, authentication, infrastructure, and analytics) under appropriate contractual protections.

Third-party services

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, hosting, and cloud functions. Google may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Advertising

The free version of PPL shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings. See Google's privacy policy for details.

Your choices

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction).

Policy changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are located in the UK or EEA, you have rights under UK GDPR including access, correction, and erasure of your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
